Aftersales Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Swindon, for the role of Vehicle Aftersales Advisor. The Vehicle Aftersales Advisor position offers an excellent opportunity to join a busy Service Department and develop your career within the automotive industry.

• Salary up to -30,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Duties of the Aftersales Advisor:

• Greet customers in the Service Department and book vehicles for repair work
• Liaise extensively with the workshop to chase work in progress and update customers
• Advise customers on minor technical issues and deliver a first-class service
• Up-sell additional products and services where appropriate
• Take payments for completed work and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and follow warranty procedures as necessary
• Assist with warranty authorisations and liaise with manufacturers as required

Requirements of the Aftersales Advisor:

• Previous experience as an Aftersales Advisor is advantageous but not essential
• Strong customer service background, ideally from hospitality or retail sectors
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge Dealer Management System is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is a plus
• A UK driving licence with minimal points is mandatory
• Confidence in building relationships and influencing customer decisions
