What You''ll Be Doing

As an After School Club Assistant, supervise children safely during the after-school period.

The After School Club Assistant will help organise games, creative activities and age-appropriate play.

Support children with positive social interaction and participation.

An After School Club Assistant will help maintain a welcoming, organised and safe club environment.

Support snack times and general club routines where required.

The After School Club Assistant will follow each school''s safeguarding, behaviour and collection procedures.

Help with setting up activities and clearing away at the end of the session.

What We''re Looking For in an After School Club Assistant

Previous After School Club Assistant, childcare or school experience, or relevant transferable experience working with children.

Experience from youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, playwork, childcare or community activities can be considered.

Friendly, reliable and confident supervising groups of children.

Good communication and strong safeguarding awareness.

An After School Club Assistant must be comfortable travelling to different schools for suitable bookings.
