After School Assistant / Playworker
Location: Oakington, Cambridge
Pay: -1416 per hour
Hours: 3 hours per day, 4 days a week

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an After School Assistant to work across schools in the Oakington, Cambridge area. This role involves supporting children aged 4-11 with a range of activities, play, and homework in an after-school setting, following the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.

You will be working alongside permanent staff members, helping to lead activities and support students of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in education while making a real difference to children''s learning and development.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist children with a range of activities and play
• Support learning and homework in a safe environment
• Work as part of a team across multiple school locations
• Working with student of all ages abilities and will working with student with Sen need such as ADSH and ASD.

Requirements for the role:

Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic

Essential: Level 3 Playworker Diploma or Level 3 Childcare Qualification

Experience working with children aged 4 and above

Confident in supporting children''s development across all ages

Flexible and adaptable to different school environments

This role offers experience in supporting children''s learning and activities in a school environment.
