About the Role
An After Builders Cleaner is required in Southend-on-Sea for a two-day temporary assignment on 17th and 18th August, paying £13 to £15 per day. Working under Pertemps Enfield, you will transform renovated residences and commercial units into spotless, ready-to-occupy spaces. Duties include eliminating construction dust from ceilings, walls, fittings, and vents, plus polishing skirting boards, frames, and sills. Paint splashes, plaster residue, and debris must be removed thoroughly. Attention to detail and reliability are essential, as is a methodical approach to finishing touches. This short contract suits experienced cleaners available for immediate, focused work.

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented After Builders Cleaners. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional cleaning standards and transforming newly built or renovated properties into pristine, move-in-ready spaces.
As an After Builders Cleaner, you will be responsible for removing construction dust, paint splashes, plaster residue, and other building debris from residential and commercial properties following renovation or construction work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough post-construction and post-renovation cleaning.
- Remove heavy builders' dust from ceilings, walls, light fittings, vents, and all surfaces.
- Clean and polish skirting boards, door frames, window sills, doors, and woodwork.
- Remove paint specks, plaster residue, stickers, and marks from windows, glass, and frames.
- Deep clean kitchens and bathrooms, including sanitising surfaces and descaling tiles and fixtures.
- Vacuum and mop floors using industrial cleaning equipment to remove fine dust particles.
- Ensure all areas meet high cleanliness and presentation standards before handover to clients.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Previous experience in after-builders, commercial, or deep cleaning is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual cleaning duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
