Our Aerospace client based in Shanghai, China, require the support of an experienced- Aerospace Jig and Tool Designer. This is to help design various Tooling and to train local Engineers.

It is important that the successful candidate has many years of Aerospace Jig and Tool design, particularly relating to composite structures and assembly. Fuselage structures and assemblies preferred.

This is an opportunity to live and work in Shanghai, a vibrant city, whilst soaking up the culture. The role is offered on a contract basis through Strongfield Consultants.

• Tooling for- final assembly line middle and rear fuselage Barrels.
• Rear and front fuselage assembly production line tooling.
• Rear fuselage assembly production line tooling Support.
• Wall panel assembly test piece tooling.
• Assembly Tooling training for Engineers.
• Preparation of training materials.
• Assembly tooling design principles.
• Design and control of key assembly tooling
• Team capacity building.
• Assembly process analysis and production line planning.
• Assembly production line tooling.
• Supporting production lines

Candidates must be prepared to live and work in Shanghai for 1-3 years duration. Relocation and start of contract ASAP.
