Aerospace Test Technician sought for a permanent position in Aylesbury, with a salary of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum. The role involves working with high-pressure gas and fluidic systems within engine testing and test facility operations. Responsibilities include setting correct feedline pressures, operating mechanical and steam vacuum systems, and performing pressure and control system checks. The postholder will set up Data Acquisition Systems and thermal imaging cameras, carry out instrumentation calibrations, and ensure compliance with testing standards. Candidates require strong mechanical fitting skills, a solid grasp of mathematics and physics, and hands-on experience in engine testing and test facility maintenance.

This role involves working with high-pressure gas and fluidic systems, engine testing, and test facility operations to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engine testing and ensure correct feedline pressures are set.
Operate and maintain mechanical and steam vacuum systems.
Perform pressure and control system checks.
Set up and operate Data Acquisition Systems and thermal imaging cameras.
Carry out instrumentation calibrations and ensure compliance with testing standards.
Work extensively with high-pressure gas and fluidic systems.
Experience Required:
Strong mechanical fitting skills.
Solid understanding of mathematics and physics.
Hands-on experience in engine testing and test facility operations.
Experience in maintenance and operation of mechanical systems.
