We are recruiting experienced Airframe Fitters to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer at their purpose-built facility in Dukinfield.As an Airframe Fitter, you will play a key role in assembling metallic aerospace structures, ensuring all operations are carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out assembly operations in line with Standard Operating Procedures and aerospace quality standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Operate tools and equipment safely, ensuring all are correctly calibrated.Perform key processes including drilling, countersinking, riveting, sealant application, and fitting of helicoils, bearings, and bushes.Demonstrate practical skills through a trade test (2nd stage interview).Essential RequirementsAerospace airframe/structural assembly experience, ideally within the aerospace sector.Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and aerospace specifications.Commitment to safe working practices and compliance with 5S standards.Proficiency in a range of aerospace fitting processes.Working HoursStandard hours can be compressed into a four-day working week: Monday - Thursday, ..... full job details .....
