Job Title: Advanced Quality Practitioner (Prison Education Services)Location: South (Field-based across regional prison sites, with your base being the closest prison to your home address)Salary: Up to 42,000 per annum (DoE)Contract: Permanent, Full-Time What You Will Be DoingCoaching and Development: Actively coach, mentor, and support teachers across regional sites, ensuring new team members adapt quickly to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.CPD Delivery: Plan, design, and deliver impactful Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and training tailored to the unique needs of different curriculum areas.Quality Assurance: Lead learning walks, developmental lesson observations, desktop reviews, and assessor evaluations to identify areas of improvement and share models of best practice.Regional Oversight: Work out in the field across the South Region four to five days per week to maintain high engagement, operational visibility, and support performance management processes.What We Are Looking ForQualifications: A recognised teaching qualification alongside Assessor and/or Verifier awards is essential.Expertise: Substantial vocational teaching experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative learning experiences to complex or challenging cohorts.Quality Improvement: Strong working knowledge of quality assurance framework processes, including target setting, internal verification, and post-observation action planning.
