About the RoleSolihull Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker (Advanced Practitioner level) to join its Safeguarding and Support Team. We offer reflective supervision, prioritise staff wellbeing, and promote a strong and supportive team culture. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and respond to allocated safeguarding work in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.Undertake assessments in accordance with the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families.Develop and implement family-led restorative plans based on assessed needs.Work collaboratively with children, young people, families, and partner agencies.Promote participation and partnership working with children and their families.Complete regular reviews of plans, recording outcomes and updating interventions accordingly.Maintain accurate and timely electronic and manual case records.Prepare detailed reports for statutory reviews, child protection conferences, panels, and court proceedings.Participate ..... full job details .....
