      <description>Location: Grantham | Salary: &amp;pound;0.00 - &amp;pound;40.00/hour | Type: Temporary | An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join a dedicated Children &amp; Families Safeguarding Team covering the South Kesteven East District, including Grantham, Stamford, Bourne and surrounding rural areas.     This is a rewarding frontline safeguarding role where you will manage cases from referral through to closure, providing continuity and consistency for children and families throughout their journey.     You will be responsible for:     *Completing Child &amp; Family Assessments where safeguarding concerns have been identified   *Undertaking Section 47 investigations   *Managing Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans   *Preparing assessments and reports for court proceedings within both public and private law   *Supporting children and families through care proceedings where required   *Holding cases from referral through to closure, ensuring no change of social worker throughout the process     The team operates a three-week duty rota. 1 week on duty - office-based 5 days per week, responding to new referrals and conducting initial visits.
