Duties Include: Complete assessments to determine needs and recommend plans and actions required Be a lead professional in allocated complex child care cases, including assessment, intervention, and planning to co-ordinate and commission a range of services for looked after children. Work within child care policies and procedures and meet statutory requirements. Co-work complex child care cases with other social workers in the team. -Use electronic systems to keep up to date case records and provide reports for a range of purposes, including review meetings, panels and court. 6 To develop integrated practice, with other agencies to assess, plan, co-ordinate and monitor a range of services to meet the needs of looked after children. Mentor, coach and support newly qualified social workers in conjunction with supervision provided by the team manager and to include guidance on practice and opportunities for co work and observation. 8...
