Duties Include: Complete assessments to determine needs and recommend plans and actions required Be a lead professional in allocated complex child care cases, including assessment, intervention, and planning to co-ordinate and commission a range of services for looked after children. Work within child care policies and procedures and meet statutory requirements. Co-work complex child care cases with other social workers in the team. Use electronic systems to keep up to date case records and provide reports for a range of purposes, including review meetings, panels and court. 6 To develop integrated practice, with other agencies to assess, plan, co-ordinate and monitor a range of services to meet the needs of looked after children.
