      <description>Location: Leicester | Salary: &amp;pound;40/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Leicester city council is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Children in need team.   Purpose   To:   Undertake a range of duties to support Team Managers and the professional development of international Social Workers, newly qualified Social Workers, and learning and development across the division by providing decisive and effective leadership to team(s) in line with the council''s ''Vision &amp; Values'' and ''Leadership Qualities'' that enables them to do their best work resulting in high levels of people and organisational performance.  Lead areas of service development to provide quality social work services to children and their families and meet the full range of statutory requirements, regulations, and national minimum standards.    Job Activities   Leading People / Social Worker Development:   Develop and support less experienced Social Workers to build and develop Social Work Practice and learn and embed practice principles and tools into practice.
