What you will do

Act as a technical authority in the Children and Families Team, providing expert advice and guidance.

Assess and manage risk with precision and confidence, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families.

Drive practice improvements by directly developing team members and actively participating in process mapping, procedure specification, and strategy development.

Handle complex cases to maintain your credibility and experience within the field.

Collaborate with Assistant Team Managers and Principal Social Workers to align with the core objectives of the Advanced Practitioner role.

Requirements

A degree or equivalent in social work.

Current Social Work England registration.

Significant frontline experience working within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker.
