The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and developing frontline practitioners while maintaining a small caseload of complex children and families.Key Responsibilities:Support, mentor and provide professional guidance to Social Workers within the Child in Need Team.Manage a small caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions.Promote high standards of practice and support continuous improvement across the team.Undertake complex assessments, risk analysis and care planning.Provide oversight and support in managing safeguarding concerns and child protection matters.Chair and contribute to professional meetings, including multi-agency forums where required.Ensure case recording and report writing are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.Work collaboratively with ..... full job details .....
