Overview

Castlemilk Group Practice are seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner for two days per week – Monday and Friday. Start date would be 1 November 2025 (or as close as possible) and salary will be dependent on experience.Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner for two days per week.Deliver on-the-day and pre-bookable telephone and face-to-face appointments to ensure a varied day.Participate in regular MDTM meetings and contribute to team discussions to support patient care.Utilise and contribute to the practice’s systems (Vision and Docman); training can be provided if needed.Offer addiction support on site as part of the practice’s services.Engage with colleagues for peer support when clinical or administrative questions arise and allocate time for catch-ups and admin within clinical rotas.Qualifications and requirements

Qualified as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner.Experience with Vision and Docman is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided.Work in a GMS practice setting within a team that includes GP partners, practice nurses, administrative staff and other support teams.About the team and setting

We are a GMS practice based within Castlemilk Health Centre, serving approximately 10,600 patients. Our team includes 5 GP Partners, 1 Long Term Locum GP, 2 Practice Nurses, 10 Administrative Support colleagues, 1 on-site CDM phlebotomist, 4 on-site Pharmacotherapy support and 1 full-time Community Links Practitioner. We offer on-site addiction support, weekly meetings and a MDTM to ensure everyone feels included. There is regular peer support and dedicated admin time within the clinical rotas.How to apply
