Locum Social Worker - Waiting Well Team London Borough of Havering 32 per hour Umbrella - Hybrid Working - Ongoing Contract Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join the innovative Waiting Well Team within the London Borough of Havering. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated service focused on improving outcomes for adults awaiting assessment or intervention. The Waiting Well Team plays a crucial role in managing waiting lists, undertaking risk assessments, and ensuring vulnerable residents receive timely support while waiting for longer-term services. Key Responsibilities Manage and review cases for individuals awaiting intervention across front-line adult social care services. Complete risk assessments and ensure risks are appropriately identified, monitored, and managed. Maintain regular contact with service users to prevent crisis situations and deterioration. Work collaboratively with operational teams, health partners, and community services. Support the effective management and reduction of waiting lists. Ensure accurate recording and timely case updates in line with statutory requirements. Promote independence and person-centred outcomes for residents. Requirements Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care.
