      <description>Location: Southampton | Salary: 28.00-28.00 Hourly | Type: Contract | We are looking for an experienced social worker with proven track record of working with individuals with a learning disability or who are neurodiverse. Please note this is a 37 hour a week contract Monday to Friday for 3 months. The candidate will need to be able to confidently undertake lone working home visits to individuals, and will be expected to be office based at the Civic a minimum of one day a week. This role will be in our Learning Disability and neurodiversity team.-Undertaking Care Act assessments-Leading on S42 safeguarding enquiries-Undertaking robust evidence based Mental Capacity Assessment, and be confident in evidencing best interest decision -Confidence and excellent understanding of the Care Act and mental Capacity Act-Excellent time management skills-Excellent recording skills-Excellent communication skills-Ability to respond calmly to high risk, high demand situations</description>
