Adult''s Social Worker, Assistant Team Manager, South London Pay rate £36 to £38 per hour Contract role, Older People''s Contact Team Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Adult''s Social Worker in South London. This is to work as an Assistant Team Manager in a Older People''s Contact Team Inbox and Allocation OversightManage and oversee the main Contact Team inbox Allocate emails fairly and based on complexity and risk Ensure urgent or safeguarding issues are flagged quickly Support staff by giving clear instructions on complex cases Keep workflow smooth and avoid staff overload Our focus is not just on volume, but on quality and prioritising high-risk SP Oversight (Support and Guidance)Respond to staff queries where they need management input Review issues raised by Customer service officer Provide clear advice, direction, and decision-making support Helps ensure consistent and safe practice across the team Triage and Screening OversightReview referrals and confirm: Whether screening is needed Priority level (standard vs urgent) Adjust decisions where necessary Ensure referrals are progressed appropriately Authorisations (Decision Making)Sign off referrals, screenings, and care decisions Provide justification for decisions Ensure actions are: Safe Proportionate In line with policy There is plenty of hybrid working available.
