Adult Social Worker - Independent Supported Living (ISL)

We are looking to recruit an agency Social Worker to review people living in our Independent Supported Living (ISL) schemes.We are looking for experienced Social Workers with an enhanced DBS and a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience with experience of working with people with a learning disability.The social worker will work with our accommodation lead and will be reviewing people to ensure they are living an independent life with support. You will receive regular monthly supervision.Our working hours are 8.30am to 5pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays. Some flexibility on finishing time may be required as a result of case work demands.You will be working in a blended working contract and will be expected to spend a minimum of two full days at our office base - Fountain Court, 119 Grange Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 2DT . You will also be required to undertake urgent visits from your home base as and when required.Our dress code is smart casual.Parking passes will be provided at no cost to you for local long stay car parks which are a 5-10 minute walk from the office. We have disabled on street parking bays nearby.Personal safety alarms are provided for home visits - we are just in the process of changing our provider.We have cooking facilities in our kitchen area - microwave and oven and we have a modern kitchen area where people meet to have lunch together.Upon arrival in Middlesbrough, you will be expected to undertake our corporate induction ..... full job details .....
