Adult Social Care LawyerLocation: RemoteSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Local Authority who are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their Legal Services team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional to join a supportive and collaborative local government legal team, providing high-quality legal advice on complex and rewarding matters that directly support the protection of vulnerable adults. Due to continued growth within the Legal Services team, the authority is looking to appoint a permanent Adult Social Care Lawyer to manage a varied caseload and provide expert legal advice across a broad range of Adult Social Care matters, working remotely as part of an experienced and collaborative team.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of Adult Social Care and Community Care matters, including:Court of Protection proceedingsMental Capacity Act mattersDeprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)Adult safeguarding mattersProviding legal advice and support to Adult Social Care teamsPublic law advice and challenges to local authority decision-makingPreparing legal documentation, statements and applicationsConducting advocacy where requiredLiaising with internal departments, external agencies, Counsel and other professionalsAbout YouTo be considered for this opportunity, you will have:Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or ..... full job details .....
