If you''re an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a background in complex care, community nursing, case management, ICU or HDU, this is an opportunity to develop your leadership skills while continuing to make a genuine difference to people''s lives.
As an Adult Clinical Lead, you''ll manage your own clinical caseload, provide high-quality case management, lead clinical decision-making and support frontline teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred care across North West London. Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own clinical caseload, providing expert case management for adults with complex healthcare needs.
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, care reviews, person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
- Deliver clinical supervision, competency assessments and practical training for Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.
- Lead new package mobilisations and provide ongoing clinical oversight across a range of complex care packages.
- Support adults with tracheostomies, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, PEG feeding, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries and complex respiratory needs.
- Work collaboratively with families, GPs, Consultants, Commissioners and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide expert clinical guidance, respond to clinical escalations and support safeguarding, clinical governance and CQC compliance.
- Registered General Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) with an active NMC registration.
- Previous experience within complex care, community nursing, case management, ICU, HDU or another acute clinical environment.
- Clinically competent in tracheostomy care, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, PEG feeding, suctioning, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries and complex respiratory care.
- Strong understanding of clinical assessment, care planning, safeguarding, clinical governance and risk management.
- Confident making autonomous clinical decisions while supporting and developing Healthcare Assistants through clinical supervision and competency assessments.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
