Adult Social Care SolicitorJob Type: Part-time (3 full days per week, 22.2 hours - open to discussion on hours)Location: Rotherham (Remote)Salary: £33.71 per hour PAYEContract: TemporaryWe are seeking an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join our Adult Care Law Team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal advice, guidance, and representation on all matters related to Adult Care Law. The successful candidate will handle cases from inception through to conclusion, including court representation and advising the Council during various meetings.Day-to-day of the role:Work within the Adult Care Law Team to provide legal services in areas including Adult Care and related matters.Manage a personal caseload of Adult Care Law matters, taking client instructions, advising throughout the case, and providing advocacy.Represent the Council in court at inquiries, inquests, and tribunals, including full preparation and advocacy.Assess and advise on evidential matters to prevent unnecessary litigation.Attend and possibly represent the Head of Legal/Assistant Director of Legal Services at Council''s Boards and Panels, acting as Legal Adviser, advising both Members and Officers.Participate in providing training for Members and Officers on relevant legal matters.Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and engage in multi-agency working.Deputise for the Senior Solicitor in the Adult Care Law Team as required.Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Regulatory ..... full job details .....
