As a Bank Registered Nurse, carry out directed patient care to a high standard without direct supervision in line with established nursing procedures and policies.Report significant changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate members of the multidisciplinary team.Take personal responsibility for the delivery of care of patients in a defined area.Contribute towards health promotion by providing education, support and advice as necessary.Ensure referral to appropriate professionals or agencies as required.Ensure safe ordering, administration and custody of patients’ medications according to Trust policies and procedures.In the absence of senior staff, delegate and supervise appropriate work to other qualified staff, healthcare assistants and students.Assist in coordinating discharge planning in partnership with the multidisciplinary team where relevant.Applicants Must

Hold RN (adult) registration with current NMC licence to practice.Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience (15 months for NQN’s — 3 months preceptorship, then 12 months acute experience).Recent acute hospital experience within the last 18–24 months.Ability to commit to a 4-day induction programme if successful.Right to work in the UK (with relevant Adaptation/ONP if applicable).Ability to commence work within 3 months of offer.About Us
