This role requires a compassionate individual who can manage sensitive information with the highest degree of accuracy to prevent any data breaches. The Family Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting both adoptive and birth families through written and, potentially, face-to-face interactions.Day-to-day of the role:Maintain and support the letterbox arrangements across 6 Local Authorities.Provide direct support to birth and adoptive families, offering practical help, advice, and guidance on issues affecting their ongoing contact arrangements.Develop and improve the existing system to enhance practice while ensuring the safety and confidentiality of all family members.Conduct periodic reviews and evaluations of the contact arrangements for each family, ensuring they remain relevant and beneficial.Maintain accurate files and records in accordance with Council policies, ensuring information is appropriately shared with other professionals.Offer additional support to families struggling to maintain contact, devising strategies to address any issues.Contribute to the preparation ..... full job details .....
