Rate: 14.82 per hour PAYE / 20.10 per hour Umbrella Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (flexibility around working hours available) Contract: Temporary, 12 months with potential for extension Start Date: 2nd November 2026The Role Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Walsall Council, on a temporary basis. We are currently recruiting for an Admissions Caseworker to join a busy and supportive team on a temporary basis for an initial 12-month assignment, with the potential to extend. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or caseworker with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload while delivering a high standard of customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and process admissions applications in line with relevant policies, procedures and statutory requirements.Assess and verify documentation and supporting evidence.Maintain accurate records and case management systems.Respond to enquiries from parents, carers, schools and other stakeholders via telephone, email and written correspondence.Provide clear advice and guidance regarding admissions processes and procedures.Monitor cases and ensure deadlines are met.Prepare reports, correspondence and case documentation as required.Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support service delivery.About You The ..... full job details .....
