Outbound Planning Admin
We are looking to recruit 1x experienced administrator for our retail client based in Rugby, CV23 area. if successful you will be working in the outbound planning team.
Shift Details:
- Pay Rate: £12.87 hour.
- Days of work: Monday-Friday 37.5 paid per week.
- Hours of work: Rotational shift, hours to be confirmed (will most likely be 06:00-14:00/11:00-19:00/14:00-22:00).
- Contract Duration: On-going agency work with the potential to go permanent after 12 weeks.
Role Purpose
- To identify and respond to issues quickly and efficiently.
- To ensure accuracy of outbound plan.
- To maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
- To regular use of e-mail and phone to communicate with customers and colleagues to solve issues and reply when necessary.
- Monitor the network.
- To perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the transportation department.
- To communicate any issues, verbal and written to the Coordinator, notifying them of any issues which may require further follow up.
Key Tasks
- Responsible for checking accuracy of outbound planning
- Responsible for creating Plan vs actual from outbound planning
- To regularly update schedules and communicate with colleagues within the network.
- Monitor all loads to ensure smooth operation in regards of trunking.
- Responsible maintaining communication and ensure accuracy is present in the network.
Requirements
- Experience of working within office administration;
- Transport logistics experience would be desirable;
- Strong numerical skills;
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
