About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a temporary Administrator to join a busy team based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who is confident handling telephone enquiries and providing administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the IT department with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring queries are managed efficiently and information is maintained accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries.
- Handling and logging incoming queries, escalating where appropriate.
- Providing administrative support to the IT team.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases, and documentation.
- Processing information and updating internal systems.
- Coordinating appointments, meetings, and schedules where required.
- Assisting with reporting and data entry tasks.
- Supporting the team with general ad hoc administrative duties.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Previous administration experience within a busy office environment.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive approach to work.
