About the Role
The Administrator, based in Plymouth, provides essential support within a specialist healthcare team. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £24,823 per annum, with working hours from Monday to Friday, choosing between an 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm shift. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our clients Remote ECG Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a specialist healthcare environment, providing essential administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of services and the highest standards of patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, data management and client liaison activities, working within strict quality procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Remote ECG Services Department.
- Accurately enter and maintain ECG and Holter monitoring data.
- Carry out quality control checks and ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain filing systems and departmental records.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and make outbound calls as required.
- Produce and maintain spreadsheets, databases and other documentation.
- Complete daily and weekly departmental checklists.
- Liaise professionally with clients, healthcare organisations and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
- Safeguard confidential and sensitive patient information at all times.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- A professional, conscientious and proactive approach to work.
- Experience within a healthcare or clinical environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
