About the Role

This is a full-time, temporary Administrator position based in Normanton, paying £12.71 per hour. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, you will provide essential administrative support within a busy logistics operation. Key duties include managing customer queries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records using internal systems. Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy operation based in Wakefield. This is a varied office-based role providing administrative support to the team, ensuring information is accurately maintained and processes are completed efficiently.
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and experience working within a logistics, transport, or supply chain environment. You will be confident working with systems and data, managing queries, and supporting daily operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer queries and providing timely responses
  • Processing credits and debits accurately
  • Updating and maintaining records using SAP, Sphere Global, and internal systems
  • Monitoring and processing returns
  • Investigating and resolving data discrepancies, errors, and system issues
  • Inputting and updating data to ensure accuracy
  • Producing and maintaining reports and spreadsheets
  • Monitoring driver delivery information and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with internal teams, drivers, and operational departments
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous administration experience within a logistics, transport, or supply chain environment
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Confident using computer systems, with SAP experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
