What does the job entail?
Warwickshire County Council is seeking an organised and proactive Administrator to join their team based at Shire Hall, Warwick. This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance in the office at least two days per week, with the remaining hours worked from home.
This varied administrative position will see you supporting the team with day-to-day office duties, ensuring information is accurately recorded and providing excellent customer service over the telephone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately inputting data onto internal systems.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
- Responding to ad-hoc requests as required.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls professionally.
- Maintaining accurate records and electronic filing systems.
- Supporting colleagues with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the service.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous administration experience.
- Be confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Have excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
- Have a professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
