An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join a growing accountancy practice based in Bristol. This is a varied role that would suit someone proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to support the smooth running of the office.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable
Previous office/administration experience
Background in accounting or financial services
Knowledge of Xero, Digita, or similar software
Main Duties
Open and distribute post, scanning to team members or clients
Meet and greet clients, arrange meetings
Answer and direct phone calls
Maintain hard/paper records
Support new client onboarding - from introduction to engagement
Provide marketing admin support and maintain billing lists
Issue customer invoices, manage credit control, chase outstanding accounts
Keep practice management systems accurate and up to date
Support Directors, senior management, and core staff with ad hoc tasks
