About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Administrator / Estimator to join their busy and friendly team in Hertford.

This role combines administration and estimating support, making it ideal for someone who is organised, enjoys working with figures and has excellent attention to detail. Candidates with experience as a Commercial Administrator, Estimating Administrator, Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator, Sales Administrator or Office Administrator are encouraged to apply.

What You''ll Do

• Prepare and issue customer quotations.

• Log enquiries and maintain tender documentation.

• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Assist with pricing works and estimate preparation.

• Raise purchase orders and maintain project records.

• Update CRM and estimating systems.

• Support Contracts Managers and Estimators.

• Respond to customer enquiries and ensure documentation is accurate.

What We''re Looking For

• Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, property maintenance, engineering or a similar industry.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

• Good numerical ability and attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• Able to work to deadlines in a busy office.

• Experience using estimating or CRM software is desirable but not essential.
