Our client, based in Stockton-on-Tees, is seeking a skilled general Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers flexibility in working hours and the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position, depending on future workload. Position would be in the customer service team, handling incoming orders, booking transport and liaising with warehouses.
Key responsibilities:
- Entering data accurately into spreadsheets and systems
- Handling incoming calls with a professional and friendly manner
- Managing and distributing incoming post
- Preparing documents for courier services
- Monitoring and distributing email enquiries
- Filing emails and customer documents
- Performing other general office duties as required
Skills and requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not essential
