Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a local authority to recruit a Service Administrator-to join the Commissioning & Placements Group. This is a temporary contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.-
The Role

Act as the first point of contact for commissioning referrals.

Monitor and update databases, ensuring accurate records and compliance with GDPR.

Progress-chase information from social workers, providers, partner agencies, and families.

Support the preparation of audits, quality assurance reports, and contract arrangements.

Provide data analysis for commissioned services, including statutory returns.

Draft correspondence and maintain accurate documentation on systems such as Capita and Mosaic.

Coordinate stakeholder meetings and support commissioning processes.

Maintain a good working knowledge of service provision, relevant legislation, and safeguarding practices.
About You
-
Strong administrative and organisational skills with experience of working in a commissioning, placements, or social care environment.

Good knowledge of legislation such as the Children and Families Act, SEN Code of Practice, and Short Breaks regulations (desirable).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and reports.
