About the Role Monmouthshire County Council is seeking a motivated Administrator to provide essential business support within Children s Services. You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, ensuring timely and professional delivery of administrative services. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills, with a strong focus on correspondence, file management, and data processing. Immediate or near-immediate availability is required. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (letters, emails, mail merges, verbal communications). Maintain paper and electronic records, ensuring information is stored correctly. Gather and copy information for Data Protection Subject Access Requests (DSARs). Take minutes for meetings, including occasional off-site strategy meetings. Provide general administrative support (photocopying, scanning, printing, booking rooms, transport, and accommodation). Support database validation, reporting, and updating during system transitions. Manage meeting bookings, diaries, invites, and minute distribution. Monitor supplies and maintain stock control (stationery). Conduct timely file audits to ensure Children s files are complete and compliant. Support service requirements with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
