Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance services and manage subcontractor performance and quality
- Support delivery of capital and revenue works programmes
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and statutory compliance
- Process and approve contractor invoices within delegated limits
- Produce reports and provide operational support to senior facilities staff
- Instruct and coordinate maintenance and janitorial teams when required
- Manage small projects and carry out basic building inspections
- Ensure Safe Systems of Work are in place and adhered to
- Promote high standards of customer satisfaction across services
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in facilities, estates, or maintenance coordination
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience managing contractors and service delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Competence in record keeping and reporting
- Basic understanding of project coordination or small works delivery
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
- Willingness to undertake First Aid training
