Hourly Rate: From -14.49ph
Working Pattern: Full Time. Monday-Friday 8:45AM-5:00PM. Hybrid working.

Your Role:
As an Administrator, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the office. Helping to support both staff and students. If you enjoy multitasking and have a cheerful disposition, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve sensitive or complex issues and enquiries from staff, students and external stakeholders, escalating issues to senior colleagues when needed.
- Collate, record, store and archive data and information to required standards to ensure the accuracy and safety of information.
- Using the relevant processes and specialist systems for the area, prepare reports and other materials using a variety of standard and non-standard formats and software.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations relating to department processes and information systems in order to continually improve services.
- Collect, analyse and interpret data, and draw conclusions from information.
- Review and investigate issues and identify trends and solutions, referring the most difficult concerns to senior colleagues.
- Participate in the planning and organisation of internal and external activities/events.
- Prioritise own work activities for the weeks ahead, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, report variances and highlight areas of potential overspend or concern.
- Follow established ordering procedures to ensure adequate resources are available to meet work requirements.
- Maintain financial and/or stock records and review data to contribute to resource planning.
- Maintain a network of contacts, drawing on support and advice from others to resolve problems when necessary.
- Oversee a comprehensive administrative service for departmental committees/team meetings.
- Work closely with Professional Services across site to ensure effective working practices exist.
- Participate in project and working groups as appropriate.
What We''re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with various stakeholders
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, and Excel
- Understanding and awareness of confidentiality and its importance
