Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: South London (with occasional travel across London) Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday (1 day per week working from home) Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support a busy rail operations team. This is a varied role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. While the position is primarily based at a South London depot, occasional travel to other London sites will be required. Key Responsibilities: Providing comprehensive administrative support to the wider team Minute taking during meetings and distributing accurate records Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings Booking meeting rooms, travel, and accommodation (including hotels) Assisting with basic payroll administration (desirable but not essential) Liaising with internal team members, external contractors, and stakeholders Maintaining accurate records and documentation Supporting day-to-day operational administrative tasks as required Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative or office support role Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Confident using Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to various London sites when required Desirable: Basic payroll ..... full job details .....
