Administration Support (Stock Control) Coventry

Join Our TeamWe are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Administration Operative to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working with data, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring stock movements are accurately processed across multiple systems while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Manage the shared team inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate stock records across internal systems and trackers.
- Support the Team Leader with the production of KPI reports and performance data.
- Ensure stock movements, including GRNs and SRNs, are processed accurately each day.
- Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for the NSS team.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and support actions to improve stock accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, sales and management teams to resolve queries and improve processes.
- Promote a positive team culture and uphold company values.
- Previous experience in an administrative or stock control role.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- The ability to work with large volumes of data and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Competitive salary of £29,000 per annum (pro rata).
