Admin / Despatch AssistantHours: 38 hours per week Working Hours:Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pmFriday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break per day)Salary: 12.71 per hour Training: Full training providedRole OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and organised Admin / Despatch Assistant to support our busy office and despatch operations. This is a varied role combining administrative duties with daily despatch responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesRaising Proof of Delivery (POD) documentationHandling daily despatch activitiesAnswering incoming telephone calls and dealing with queries professionallyResponding to customer and internal queries via emailCarrying out general office administration duties as requiredSupporting Health and Safety administration tasksMaintaining accurate records and filing systemsSkills and Experience RequiredComputer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel and WordGood standard of English and MathsConfident communication skills, both written and verbalOrganised, reliable, and able to work as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
