WCU , in response to the

Applications are currently invited for part-time instructors in the Physical Therapy department in the College of Health and Human Sciences. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is an entry-level program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education ( CAPTE ).The Physical Therapy department commonly has the need for part-time instructors. We invite applications to be submitted for these potential openings.These appointments are on a course by course basis. Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and discipline. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this PositionExpertise and experience in teaching Physical Therapy in post-secondary environments is preferred.

Minimum QualificationsMinimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a doctor''s or master''s degree in the teaching discipline or master''s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).

Preferred QualificationsA terminal degree and teaching and/or work-related experience with university students. Licensure (or eligibility) in Physical Therapy.
