Interim Additional Learning Support (ALS) ManagerDay Rate: £300-£350Location: Victoria, LondonJob Type: Interim Contract Full-Time Term-Time FocusStart Date: ASAPJoin a leading specialist digital college as an Interim Additional Learning Support (ALS) Manager. This role is crucial in leading and developing SEND and ALS provision, ensuring high-quality support for learners aged 16-19 and apprentices with additional needs.Day-to-day of the role:Lead and continuously improve SEND and ALS provision across the college.Manage EHCP processes, annual reviews, consultations, and relationships with external agencies.Oversee exam access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for learners.Support the assessment and implementation of learner support plans and learner passports.Line manage and develop Learning Support Assistants.Deliver SEND training and CPD to teaching and support staff.Monitor attendance, behaviour, and learner progress for students with SEND.Support apprentices requiring workplace adjustments across London and Manchester.Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in a senior ALS, SEND, SENCO, or Inclusion role within FE, Sixth Form, or a similar educational setting.Strong knowledge of EHCP processes, High Needs Funding, SEND legislation and best practice, and Exam Access Arrangements.Proven experience leading teams and driving positive outcomes for learners with additional needs.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with ..... full job details .....
