Job Title: Aids SurveyorLocation: North LondonSalary: £42 per hour (Umbrella)Contract: 3-month ongoing contractOverview We are seeking an experienced Aids Surveyor to support the delivery of disabled adaptations and housing improvement schemes. You will play a key role in assessing properties, designing adaptation schemes, and ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise service users and colleagues on adaptation schemes and their feasibilityPrepare scheme designs and technical drawings (including AutoCAD)Manage and monitor both large and small-scale projects to ensure timely and successful deliveryInspect existing buildings to assess condition and identify defects affecting proposed adaptationsPrepare documentation for Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) applicationsCarry out pre- and post-works inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and Occupational Therapist recommendationsProduce schedules of works and specifications for contractor issueLiaise with service users, families, contractors, statutory bodies, and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with legislation including Health and Safety, CDM Regulations, and Party Wall ActWork collaboratively with professionals to ensure statutory and quality standards are metStay up to date with modern construction methods, materials, and industry developmentsParticipate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiativesUphold Health and Safety responsibilities ..... full job details .....
