AD Site Operative

Business: The ReFood AD plants operate as integrated recycling units, processing a variety of food wastes to produce biogas, renewable electricity, heat and ReGrow (a nutrient-rich fertiliser for local farms). The plants also recycle the food waste packaging providing an environmentally sustainable solution for all waste producers looking for a safe method of diverting food waste from landfill. The Position An exciting opening has arisen for an AD Site Operative to join the team at our ReFood Widnes Site. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join an established and growing company that is committed to helping conserve natural resources and protect the environment. This is a full-time permanent position, working an average of 42 hours per week (12-hour shifts - days and nights), on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. As an AD Site Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include: Assisting Management in controlling and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the ReFood operation in accordance with management instructions, Health and Safety and Legislative requirements. Operating the mobile plant in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Group Policies and Procedures.
