Ad Hoc Teaching AssistantStart Date: ASAPLocation: EdgwarePart-time / Ad HocSalary: 108 per dayAbout the role and schoolTeach Plus are working with a friendly primary school in Edgware that is looking to build a reliable pool of Ad Hoc Teaching Assistants to provide flexible classroom cover.This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who wants flexibility around their existing commitments while gaining experience across a primary school environment.The Ad Hoc Teaching Assistant will support teachers with classroom activities, pupil supervision and learning support. There may also be opportunities to provide additional support to pupils with SEN, depending on the school''s daily requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport class teachers with day-to-day classroom activitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support where requiredAssist pupils with their learning and developmentSupport positive behaviour and classroom routinesHelp prepare resources and learning activitiesProvide cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 when requiredSupport pupils with additional needsBuild positive relationships with pupils and staffFollow school policies and safeguarding proceduresQualifications/ExperiencePrevious experience working with children is desirableSchool or Teaching Assistant experience advantageousSEN experience is beneficial but not essentialReliable and punctualFlexible and adaptableConfident working with different age groupsStrong communication and teamwork skillsEnhanced DBS on the ..... full job details .....
