Ad Hoc Nanny

Academics are looking for passionate, qualified and experienced Early Years Educators / Nannies to join our supply team.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified childcare professionals looking for flexible work while making a positive difference to children''s learning, development and wellbeing.

Assignments can range from day-to-day supply work to short-term and longer-term placements, depending on your availability and experience.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing high-quality care and education to children.
• Supporting children''s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Planning and delivering stimulating experiences based on children''s interests and developmental needs.
• Supporting children''s personal, social and emotional development.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and inclusive environment.
• Following and contributing to children''s routines and development plans.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Communicating effectively and professionally with family settings.
• Supporting children''s individual needs and ensuring their wellbeing is prioritised.

Requirements

• A recognised Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year''s sole-charge nannying experience.
• A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Previous professional experience working with children.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two suitable professional references.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
