Ad Hoc Nanny
Academics are looking for passionate, qualified and experienced Early Years Educators / Nannies to join our supply team.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified childcare professionals looking for flexible work while making a positive difference to children''s learning, development and wellbeing.
Assignments can range from day-to-day supply work to short-term and longer-term placements, depending on your availability and experience.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality care and education to children.
- Supporting children''s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Planning and delivering stimulating experiences based on children''s interests and developmental needs.
- Supporting children''s personal, social and emotional development.
- Maintaining a safe, secure and inclusive environment.
- Following and contributing to children''s routines and development plans.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with family settings.
- Supporting children''s individual needs and ensuring their wellbeing is prioritised.

Requirements
- A recognised Early Years / Childcare qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year''s sole-charge nannying experience.
- A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Previous professional experience working with children.
- An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
- Two suitable professional references.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
