Actuator/Assembly Operative

Exciting opportunity for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing client in South Molton to support their team in the actuator assembly department. Job Title: Assembly Operative Job Type: Full Time; Temporary Ongoing Location: South Molton Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm (can progress to rotating shifts) Pay: £12.87 per hour + Shift Allowance Rotating Shifts: Mon - Thurs 6AM - 2PM and Friday 6AM - 11AM (15% shift premium) Mon - Thurs 2PM - 10PM and Friday 11AM - 4PM (25% shift premium) About our client: This is a power management company doing business in more than 175 countries. About the Assembly Operative role: To assemble actuators in line with the company procedures utilising EBS tools and processes. To assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies and top-level components and test in line with procedures. Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative: Responsible for making yourself aware of the Health and Safety requirements for the role and department. Demonstrating full commitment to the company''s Lean system, including application of the 5S tools Adherence to standard operating procedures and SOPs applicable to the role.
