We work across disciplines and sectors, applying sector knowledge and technology solutions to deliver the best possible outcomes.As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams across client projects such as IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementations, finance transformations, companies\'' mergers and acquisitions, providing advice on capital models or supporting our Audit colleagues. In this role you will be leading project teams in the delivery of client engagements and providing technical input to a number of projects and drafting reports and presentations.Responsibilities
Lead project teams in the delivery of client engagements and provide technical input to multiple projects, drafting reports and presentations.Contribute actuarial expertise on IFRS 17 impact assessments and related finance transformation projects.Support mergers and acquisitions activities and advise on capital models as required.Provide actuarial input to support Audit colleagues as needed.What you will need to do it
Be a fully Qualified Actuary, with experience in a Life Actuarial function or life consultancy.Ability to manage concurrent engagements and contribute to shaping and implementing tailored KPMG solutions.Strong technical and communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to engage with clients and senior personnel from day one.Strong project and people management skills, with the ability to structure task allocations around critical goals.Strong coaching skills to develop the capabilities of junior team members.Desirable / Amazing extras
Previous consultancy experience is preferred, but we consider Qualified Actuaries from industry who can demonstrate the abilities to work with senior management to cultivate and maintain client relationships, including assisting with proposals and sales materials.Locations
