Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead and develop an engaging programme of activities for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by creating meaningful experiences that reduce social isolation, improve mental health and support individuals on their journey towards independent living. As Activities Coordinator, you will design, coordinate and deliver a varied timetable of recreational, educational and wellbeing activities, working alongside clients, colleagues, volunteers and community partners to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people can thrive. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of activities including arts and crafts, music, cooking, gardening, fitness, wellbeing and life-skills workshops. Develop weekly and monthly activity schedules that meet the varied interests and support needs of clients. Adapt activities to suit different abilities, confidence levels and individual circumstances. Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment that encourages participation and social connection.
